Stu Chudy of Optic Sugar wins Boston Cut & Paste 2009

Stu Chudy, creative director & founder of Optic Sugar wins 1st place *and* audience favorite in the motion design category of the 2009 Boston Cut & Paste digital design tournament. The contestants had 8 hours to complete a 15 second product, and the theme was “stimulus”. This win will put him in the global competition in NYC against artists from 16 cities around the world this June. 

Stu & Optic Sugar will be creating the  serialized short The Dark Spiral to be included as a segment in “The Devil Has A Variety Show“.

NEW COURSE! Write the Damn Screenplay Already! This advanced class is designed to kick your butt into finally finishing that script you’ve been kicking around for too long. You will take part in in-class writing assignments and workshops, and learn techniques to get motivated, overcome writer’s block and find inspiration. You will come to the first class with an idea and, by the end of the course, have 100 pages of a first draft. If you’ve always wanted to write or revise that screenplay but can’t find the motivation or time, this class is for you. You will also learn how to deliver on a deadline — a crucial skill when working under movie producers and directors.
